Jimiyo was made in Japan 1977, imported to Nashville, Tennessee, America 1982. His first art job, designing Nascar event tees, came several years after his relatively worthless Mass Communications degree. After a couple years designing tribal flourishes, flames, and cheeky slogans, it began to wear at his soul, so he quit his job, and took a solo road trip around the US in a defiant revolt against the status quo, job security, and complacent degradation. On his trip, he found a little ranch in the middle of nowhere, where he exchanged a summer of work for a winter of quiet solitude and freedom from any responsibilities. There he started freelancing, and has been unemployed since. Brotha just trying to make a dolla out of fifteen cents peeping what he loves to do most.
